Winter In the City

Canberra’s Winter in the City festival is back these July school holidays, returning from 5th – 19th July 2025. Canberra’s city centre will come alive for 15 days, transforming into a dynamic winter theatre with a range of family-friendly and free entertainment throughout the days and into the evenings.

Nationally renowned performers will bring world-class entertainment. Daily choreographed fire shows and crowd-thrilling pyrotechnics alongside family-friendly shows delivering laughs, jaw-dropping stunts and theatrical spectacles that will leave audiences of all ages spellbound.

The festival will culminate in The Forage, a winter street food festival on Saturday, 19th July, with live music, performances, fire shows and a huge range of food and drinks.
