Culture and creativity collide once again as Enlighten Festival Canberra – returning in 2026! See the nation’s capital in a dazzling new light when Enlighten Illuminations light up some of Canberra’s iconic buildings with stunning architectural projections.

The Enlighten Festival Canberra is located in the National Triangle, centred around the Festival Hub on the lawns of John Dunmore Lang Place. At the heart of the festival are spectacular light displays and projections illuminating some of Canberra’s most iconic buildings and landmarks, including the National Gallery of Australia and Australian Parliament House. These stunning visual spectacles turn the city into a breathtaking gallery under the night sky.

From this central hub you can visit the Illuminations on six of Australia’s National Cultural Institutions, as well as a number of art installations across the site.
