How does the One Event, One Tree initiative work?
For every Day Delegate Package (DDP) event confirmed at Mercure Canberra with a minimum of 20 delegates, we will fund the planting of one tree through our partnership with Reforest.
Which events are eligible?
The initiative applies to confirmed Day Delegate Package events with 20 or more delegates attending at Mercure Canberra.
Do I need to do anything to participate?
No. If your event meets the eligibility criteria, Mercure Canberra will arrange the tree planting on your behalf.
How many trees will be planted for my event?
One tree will be planted for each qualifying Day Delegate Package event booked and confirmed at Mercure Canberra.
Where are the trees planted?
Trees are planted through Reforest’s environmental restoration projects, supporting ecosystem regeneration and positive environmental outcomes across Australia.
Does participating cost anything extra?
No. The tree planting is funded by Mercure Canberra as part of our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
