Getting to Mercure Canberra

Driving to Mercure Canberra

Mercure Canberra is located approximately 10 minutes from most major Canberra attractions and government precincts.

From Sydney, Melbourne and surrounding regional areas, follow signs towards Canberra City and Braddon. The hotel is situated on the corner of Limestone Avenue and Ainslie Avenue, directly opposite the Australian War Memorial precinct.

From Canberra Airport

Canberra Airport is approximately 6 kilometres from Mercure Canberra.

Follow Pialligo Avenue west from the airport towards the city, and then turn right on to Fairbairn Ave. Follow Fairbairn Ave for 4.3km. At the Australian War Memorial, take the second roundabout exit onto Limestone Ave, follow for 1km and you will see Mercure Canberra on your left hand side.
Taxi or rideshare are available to and from the Airport, and public transport is also available with regular bus shuttle operating. Car rental companies operate at the airport with city offices as well.

Travel time is generally:
